Overview Clinical Assistant in Dermatology (Fractional): GPs positions available at Bayside Health Alfred Dermatology Skin Assessment Clinic (DSAC), one session per week (Friday afternoons) for 12 months. Applications are invited for General Practitioners to work in an integrated and community-centred skin assessment and treatment clinic using the Beacon Model. This clinic will run in parallel with an established Dermatology Specialist clinic at the Alfred Hospital (Bayside Health) and will be nurse-led Biologics in support of dermatology services.

The successful candidates will work 3.5 hours (1 session) per week, on Friday afternoon, for a period of 12 months.

Qualifications and Skills Qualifications and Skills Required Our preferred candidate must possess the following experience and attributes:

- Appointees must be legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.




- Fellowship of either the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine or equivalent certification from a recognised overseas body.
- Meets Bayside Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Specialty General Practice.
- Experience in teaching and an interest/involvement in research are desirable.
- Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels.
- Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly cooperative relationships with others/other teams.
