Employment Type: Talent Pool Creation Salary: $102,936 – $113,579 + super + leave loading A Talent Pool will be created for future ongoing and temporary roles and is valid for up to 18 months. Priority will be given to filling roles at Coonamble. Ready to make a real impact?

Be the Difference Between Risk and Reintegration As a Community Corrections Officer with Corrective Services NSW, you’ll play a key role in supervising individuals on community‑based orders—guiding their rehabilitation, ensuring accountability, and actively contributing to safer communities. You will assess individual needs and risks, develop tailored case plans, prepare reports for relevant authorities, and recommend programs and services that support positive behavioural change.

A bit about Coonamble and our team We acknowledge our office is built on Aboriginal land, and we honour the Wailwan, Gamilaraay and Yuwaalaraay Countries that we travel and work across in the rural and remote areas of Coonamble, Walgett and Lightning Ridge.

Office is based in a rural community located on the Castlereagh River and is the gateway to the natural tourist attractions the Warrumbungles National Park, the Macquarie Marshes and the Pilliga Forrest and hosts Australia’s biggest rodeo and camp draft in June each year.
