Part-Time Early Childhood Teacher- Bachelor in Early Childhood

Hastings Preschool is a community based, long day care service. We are looking for a motivated Early Childhood Teacher that is passionate about early childhood education.

About the role:

You would be the Early Childhood Teacher and shared Room Leader in our Preschool 4-5 year olds room. This is a part time position. You will have access to planning hours during this rostered time and education support. Competitive rates are available for the right candidate.

About You:

Essentials

- Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood

- ACECQA approved
- A sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework





- Working knowledge of the Education & Care National Services Regulations

- Highly motivated

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Be reliable and dependable

- Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid and CPR certificate

- NESA Accreditation

- Understanding of Contemporary Child Safe practices

- Completed Geccko Child Secure Training

- CHCPRT025 - Identify and report children and young people at risk OR

- CHCPRT001 - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk

Desirable but not essential

- Experience with Storypark or other digital platforms
- An understanding of Reggio philosophies
