Remuneration: $33.39 per hour (plus superannuation and salary packaging options)
Location: Cowra, NSW
Hours per week: up to 32

We have permanent & casual opportunities available. The redevelopment of Cowra Hospital has now completed.
This major transformation has produced a new cutting‑edge facility that will redefine healthcare delivery in the Central West. The new hospital delivers modern, purpose‑built facilities to meet the health needs of Cowra and surrounding communities, both now and into the future.
- A general medical and surgical inpatient ward - A peri‑operative service for various surgical procedures - A maternity unit with a dedicated nursery - Ambulatory care for outpatients - A renal dialysis unit for outpatient treatment - An oncology unit for chemotherapy treatments - Community Health and Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol services - A medical imaging department with a CT scanner and ultrasound This is a varied role providing security and general assistance to ensure the smooth running of the hospital.
Your role will include security‑related duties as well as providing support to the nursing team under their guidance in the delivery of patient care. Duties may include portering for patient transfers, cleaning,
basic patient support and attending to mortuary tasks as needed. You will work rotating shifts over a 7‑day roster.

Required qualifications &
