About the Position
As a Lecturer in Business and Economics - you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of Business, Economics, Accounting and Business Statistics units while contributing to the University's research, scholarship and academic excellence. You will develop and coordinate engaging undergraduate and postgraduate units, support student learning through innovative teaching practices, assess student performance, and provide academic advice and guidance.
You will also contribute to curriculum development, research and publication activities, supervise Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates, participate in course accreditation and quality assurance processes, and collaborate with colleagues, industry and professional bodies to enhance teaching, research and community engagement. As an academic leader, you will help foster an inclusive, high-performing learning workplace while contributing to the ongoing growth and reputation of the Faculty.
About You To be successful, you will require:
- A PhD in a relevant business discipline.
- Outstanding record of higher education teaching, curriculum development, delivery and assessment in business subjects.
- A demonstrated capacity and commitment to undertake research, including a track record of referred publications and HDR supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively and consultatively as a member of a team.
- A capacity to undertake relevant administrative responsibilities, including course co-ordination,
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles in working in higher education, enabling and equity programs, providing supportive education to people from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds and varying age groups.
- Commitment to the University’s values.
Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at HE Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $116,429 - $137,659 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $136,221 - $161,061 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
