The opportunity

Gate 7 is looking for a capable, enthusiastic and highly organised Marketing Coordinator to join our tourism marketing agency.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across travel trade, PR, events and integrated marketing programs for some of the world’s most exciting destinations and travel brands.

While the role will support activity across the agency, it will have a strong focus on travel trade marketing and tourism development. You will help coordinate campaigns, agent engagement, training programs, industry events and familiarisation trips, while also supporting PR and broader marketing projects when required.

This role would suit someone who has minimum 2 years work experience, building solid foundations in marketing, tourism, events or account coordination and is ready to learn more and take greater ownership of their work. You may already have some experience within a tourism organisation, travel company, agency, hotel, airline or tour operator, or you may be looking to bring transferable marketing and project coordination skills into the travel industry.

You will be someone who enjoys variety, builds relationships easily and takes pride in making sure the detail is right.
