The role

We are seeking a passionate and organised DEI & Wellbeing Advisor to support the delivery of Norton Rose Fulbright Australia's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Wellbeing strategy.

Reporting to the DEI & Wellbeing Manager based in Melbourne, you will be part of a collaborative People & Culture team and work closely with DEI colleagues, employee networks and stakeholders across Australia and our wider global business, including the EMEA DEI & Wellbeing team based in London.

You will play a key role in coordinating initiatives across the firm's core DEI and wellbeing pillars, including Gender Equality, Cultural Diversity, LGBTIQ+ Inclusion, Disability Confidence, People with Caring Responsibilities, and Mental Health & Wellbeing.

This is a varied and hands‑on role, combining project coordination, event management, communications, stakeholder engagement and wellbeing program support. Based in our Sydney office, you will work closely with employee networks, committees, People & Culture and external partners to help bring our DEI and wellbeing initiatives to life and contribute to an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.

The position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both local and global DEI and wellbeing initiatives within one of the world's leading law firms.

Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of the firm's DEI and Wellbeing strategy and annual program of initiatives.
- Coordinate internal campaigns and events aligned to key diversity and wellbeing dates, including International Women's Day, Pride Month,



Wear It Purple, R U OK? Day, Carers Week and World Mental Health Month.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of training sessions, workshops, panel discussions and awareness events.
- Draft and coordinate internal communications, intranet content, promotional materials and event communications.
- Support employee networks, committees and working groups across the firm's Australian offices.
- Assist with the preparation of external accreditation and benchmarking submissions, including AWEI, WGEA and Family Friendly Workplace reporting.
- Coordinate relationships and activities with external DEI and wellbeing partners and industry organisations.
- Assist with employee survey administration, reporting and the analysis of feedback and engagement data.
- Support the delivery of mental health and wellbeing initiatives, including Mental Health First Aid programs and psychological safety activities.
- Assist in coordinating wellbeing support programs and external providers.
- Support the development of DEI and wellbeing resources, policies and communications.
- Provide project coordination and administrative support across multiple DEI and wellbeing initiatives simultaneously.

Requirements

- Previous experience in DEI & wellbeing or a related Human Resources field.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline.
- Demonstrated passion for diversity, inclusion, mental health and employee wellbeing.
- Strong coordination and project management skills,



with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating events, programs, campaigns or employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
- Experience within professional services, legal, consulting or corporate environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- Flexibility to support occasional events outside standard business hours when required.
