Role Description
Reporting to the General Manager – People and Culture, this role works in close partnership with senior leaders across both operational and corporate divisions while contributing as part of a small, collaborative People & Culture team.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide practical and commercially focused people solutions that enhance engagement, strengthen performance, and support organisational effectiveness.
Operating within a dynamic and quick-paced environment, you will be comfortable working across both blue- and white-collar workforces, partnering with leaders to build capability, drive workforce planning initiatives, and contribute to long-term succession strategies that support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of people processes and systems
- Use workforce data and insights to support informed decision making
- Work collaboratively with the P&C; Centres of Excellence to support organisational initiatives
- Provide recommendations regarding strategic workforce planning
- Partner with leaders to provide practical HR guidance across the employee lifecycle
- Support leaders with performance management,
employee relations and workplace matters
- Provide advice on IR/ER matters and ensure alignment with employment legislation
- Support leaders across multiple business units, including operational and corporate functions
- Support organisational design and structural change, including role sizing, job design and commercially sound, compliant organisation structures.
- Model and champion EPSA’s SHAPE values and the People & Culture strategy in all interactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Previous experience as a functional HR/People & Culture Business Partner
- Experience in employee relations, workforce planning, and HR policy development
- Experience operating within a mid-size organisations (100 – 3,000 employees)
- Exposure to both blue and white collar environments
- Curiosity and openness to technology and continuous improvement in people systems
- The ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done
