About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Governance andSystems Officer to support the delivery and continuous improvementof the City's Project Management Framework.

Reporting to the Service Manager Organisational Capability andPerformance, you'll work across the organisation to promoteconsistent project governance practices, provide guidance andsupport to project sponsors and project leads, and contribute tohigh-quality project reporting that enables informeddecision-making. You'll also play a key role in maintaining projectmanagement tools, templates and governance resources, facilitatingtraining, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

About you

We're seeking a collaborative and organised project governanceprofessional with a passion for continuous improvement, stronganalytical skills and the ability to build effective workingrelationships across a diverse organisation.

You enjoy working with systems and processes, have excellentcommunication skills,



and are confident supporting stakeholders toapply project governance frameworks and reporting requirements.Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help driveconsistency and best practice across the organisation.

Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:

- Experience in project governance, reporting and businessimprovement.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communicationskills.
- Knowledge of project management and continuous improvementpractices.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and business systems.
- Current WA Class C Driver's Licence.

Salary and Advantages:Salary range fromLevel 8 Step 1 – Step 4($125,629.88 - $133,091.26)oftheCity of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based onqualifications and experience.
