About the Role

TC AOD and Mental Health Clinician provides specialist clinical assessment, intervention, therapeuticactivities. Supporting residents experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) dependence and co-occurringmental health needs through the delivery of evidence-informed, trauma-informed,and recovery-orientedclinical care.

This role is classified at Level 5 under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.

What We’re Looking For

You’re more than your qualifications—you’re someone who brings heart, empathy, professionalism and a robust commitment to supporting clients in improving their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling,



Occupational Therapy, or another recognised behavioural, health or human services discipline relevant to alcohol and other drug (AOD) and mental health practice.

Demonstrated experience to be able to comprehensively assess, plan, implement and evaluate care within a complex environment.

Demonstrated ability ordemonstratedcommitment to the delivery of evidencebasedtherapeutic approaches and interventions.

Experience in theleadershipofa team, specificallywithin a clinical setting, including line management.
