We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our Sydney Engineering team on a permanent Night Shift roster commencing at 6.00pm. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment where your technical expertise will directly contribute to keeping our operations running safely, efficiently and reliably.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance, reliability and safety of production equipment across our site.

Your Responsibilities Will Include





- Responding to electrical breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Performing preventative and predictive maintenance activities
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, control and automation faults
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades
- Assisting with maintenance projects and installations
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, GMP and HACCP requirements
- Coaching operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Championing our safety-first culture

About You

You are a trade-qualified Electrician who enjoys problem solving, working independently and taking ownership of equipment performance.

Essential

- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Trade qualification as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter/Mechanic
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic capability
- Experience working with preventative maintenance systemsCommitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work effectively on Night Shift
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Highly Regarded

- Experience in food manufacturing
- PLC fault‑finding experience
- Experience with automated production equipment
- EWP, Working at Heights or Confined Space qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience
