About the Role

On behalf of our client, a respected aged care provider in regional NSW, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team. Our client is committed to delivering person-centred care that respects the dignity and independence of every resident, with a solid focus on creating a supportive, home-like environment. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in line with best-practice nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team—including GPs, allied health professionals, and care coordinators—to ensure seamless, integrated care delivery and timely adjustments to treatment.
- Administer medications, perform complex clinical interventions (e.g., wound management, pain control), and closely monitor residents’ responses to treatments, documenting progress and escalating concerns as needed.




- Lead health promotion initiatives, such as falls prevention programs and nutrition education, to proactively maintain residents’ wellbeing and reduce hospital admissions.
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to residents and their families, explaining care options, treatment plans, and health status to support informed decision-making.
- Supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses, Personal Care Workers, and other support staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, delegation of tasks, and ongoing professional development.

Skill & Experience
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care, with demonstrated competency in chronic disease management and end-of-life care.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate teams and resolve clinical issues.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and familiarity with aged care accreditation standards.
- Relevant qualification to above field.
