Your Opportunity

As an Associate Director, you will play a key leadership role within the team, combining client ownership, strategic advisory, and people leadership to drive both client and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of tax and accounting solutions across a diverse portfolio including privately owned businesses, family groups, SMEs, trusts, partnerships, and international structures.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building solid client relationships and leading high-value engagements from planning through to delivery.
- Take ownership of a significant client portfolio, including leading meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Oversee and review complex compliance and advisory work, ensuring technical excellence and commercial value.
- Drive strategic advisory engagements, including structuring, growth initiatives,



and business transformation projects.
- Contribute to business development, identifying opportunities to grow client relationships and expand the practice.
- Lead, coach and inspire a team, fostering a high-performance, inclusive and collaborative culture.

Your Experience

- Proven experience at Senior Manager or Associate Director level within a public practice accounting environment, preferably within a mid-tier or large accounting firm.
- Strong background in private business tax, accounting, and advisory services.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex client engagements and stakeholder relationships.
- Track record of leading, coaching and developing teams.
- Experience across a mix of compliance and advisory work, including structuring and mid-market client issues.
- Strong commercial acumen with an ability to contribute to business development and growth initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Completed CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
