Full-time temporary, Clerk Grade 9/10 ($133,348 - $146,945 per annum) opportunity up to 30 June 2028, based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.

Lead strategic communications and engagement initiatives that help connect communities with key NSW Government priorities and projects.

About the Role The Strategic Communications and Engagement team is seeking a Senior Advisor to join the Community and Engagement Branch on a full-time temporary basis until 30 June 2028, with the potential to extend or convert to ongoing. This is an opportunity to work at the centre of government, delivering communications and engagement activities that support major NSW Government priorities and initiatives. You'll develop strategic communication and stakeholder engagement approaches, provide trusted advice to senior stakeholders, and help shape campaigns that inform and engage communities across the state

Working across a diverse portfolio, you'll collaborate with agencies, Ministerial offices and senior leaders to deliver high-quality communication outcomes in a fast-paced and highly visible environment.

We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience delivering strategic communications, stakeholder engagement or marketing initiatives, ideally within government, public affairs, corporate communications or a similarly complex environment.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Experience providing strategic advice on communications, engagement,



campaigns or reputation management, particularly in high-profile or fast-moving environments.

Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and channels.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building productive relationships and working collaboratively with senior leaders, government agencies, community groups or industry stakeholders.

Package includes base salary ($133,348 - $146,945) plus superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
