Role Purpose -

As the Senior Employment Relations Consultant you will be the key adviser in our new HR as a Service (HRaaS) offering to business owners in our broking network.

This role is designed to provide an end-to-end "People Partnership" for mortgage broker business owners. You will be responsible for helping brokers identify the right time to expand their team and which model best suits them, find the right talent (via our Talentforce recruitment team) and ensure they have the legal frameworks, leadership skills, and high-performance culture to retain and maximise that talent. You will be instrumental in building this offering out, ensuring we not only deliver quality HR/ leadership advice but also grow a scalable, profitable, and industry-specific people solutions commercial offering.

Key Responsibilities -

HRaaS Product Development &

- Strategy:Design and launch a scalable suite of HR tools, including industry-specific employment contracts, policy templates, and performance frameworks.Establish and deliver a market competitive service model of HR offeringsDevelop industry-relevant remuneration benchmarking and KPI frameworks to help brokers stay competitive.Ensure delivery of a quality HR advisory service, building a robust and trusted reputation within the industryInnovate the service offerings over time in response to identified needs

Expert Advisory &

- Coaching:Provide virtual coaching to business owners on sensitive Employee Relations (ER) issues, including misconduct, performance management,



and terminations.Act as a "third-party sounding board" for business owners, helping them transition from "Top Producer" to "Effective Leader."Offer proactive, value-add HR/ Leadership coaching services beyond employment relations and issues management to help brokers grow their businesses, including driving employee engagement, team building, high-performance coaching, KPI setting, and implementing reward and recognition schemes.

Education &

- Industry Advocacy:Deliver "One-to-Many" training (webinars, conferences, and retreats) on management topics like interview skills, KPI setting, legislative changes, coaching & feedback and leadership.Ensure the network (especially all franchise owners) remains compliant with legislative changes (e.g., Fair Work updates, Right to Disconnect) through regular briefings.

Commercial success:Drive the commercial success of the division by optimising team performance, operational workflows, and service models to ensure long-term profitability.Spearhead the adoption and market penetration of people-solution offerings across the national network, ensuring high levels of engagement from business owners.Curate and manage a comprehensive suite of marketing materials and collateral to elevate brand awareness and drive organic referrals within the network.Actively convert prospective leads into long-term partners of the HRaaS and Talentforce ecosystems through targeted outreach and expert consultation.

Required Skills &

Experience -

ER/HR Expertise:Senior HR Practitioner: 8 years of experience in HR/ER, with a deep understanding of the Australian Fair Work system and National Employment Standards.SME Specialist: Experience working with small business owners (1–20 staff) who may lack formal HR training and require "hand-holding" through the employment lifecycle.

Strategy &

- Implementation:Scalable Thinking: Ability to leverage technology (ATS, Salesforce, secure portals, AI) to deliver services across a large, national network.Industry Nuance: Understanding of the mortgage broking and/ or financial planning landscape and the specific roles (onshore and offshore), commission dynamics, career pathways, within a typical brokerage.

Soft Skills:The "Trusted Advisor" Persona:



A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to provide "tough love" feedback to business owners.Influence: Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders (Elevate, Profit Pulse, Talentforce) to integrate people strategy with financial business growth.Education &

- Facilitation: Exceptional ability to develop and present high-impact training and educational content both virtually and in-person at conferences and group sessions, that motivates business owners to implement contemporary leadership frameworks and team-building strategies.
