Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is responsible for financial reporting, tax compliance, and providing tax advice to support strategic business decisions across Honda Australia. How you'll make an impact
Lead all tax compliance activities, including BAS, FBT, Corporate Income Tax, and year-end tax reporting, ensuring accurate and timely lodgements.
Manage tax governance, policies, controls, and documentation to support compliance, audits, and evolving regulatory requirements.
Coordinate transfer pricing, Annual Compliance Report (ACR), and other tax reporting requirements with Honda Motor Co. and global tax teams.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including profit and loss reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and global reporting submissions.
Partner with business stakeholders to provide financial insights, technical accounting guidance, and support strategic decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial accounting and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Mentor and develop junior accountants while supporting ad hoc finance projects and business initiatives as required.
What you'll bring to Honda
CA/CPA qualification.
Minimum 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in a taxation or financial accounting role.
Solid technical tax and compliance knowledge.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
