The Team Member Parks and Gardens plays a vital role in maintaining our community's green spaces, ensuring they remain inviting and pristine for residents and visitors alike.This position encompasses a blend of physical labour, environmental stewardship, and horticultural expertise, all with the ultimate goal of creating and sustaining beautiful, safe, and functional outdoor areas that enhance the well-being of our community and showcase the City of Mount Gambier’s natural assets.

The Team

Member - Parks and Gardens will generally - but not exclusively - work within the Parks and Gardens Team.Some of the feature areas of focus will include significant gardens and landscapes such as: The Crater Lakes, Vansittart Park, Umpherston Sinkhole/Balumbul, Cave Garden/Thugi, Wulanda Recreation & Convention Centre, The Railway Lands Reserve (and Corridor), Blue Lakes Sports Park, Englebrecht Cave.
