Sales Manager | Roofing, Flashings & Rainwater Products

This is a genuine opportunity to step into a commercial leadership role with an established Australian manufacturer supplying the roofing, building and construction industries.

We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to take ownership of a well-established South East Queensland territory while driving the next phase of growth across roofing products, flashings, rainwater solutions and custom sheet metal fabrication.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond simply managing accounts and become involved in shaping the commercial direction of the business.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, mentor a small sales team and have real input into growth strategy, product development, pricing and market expansion.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for developing recent business while strengthening relationships with existing customers throughout South East Queensland.

Your focus will be growing market share across a broad range of manufactured building products including:

- Roofing products
- Flashings and custom flashings
- Rainwater products
- Gutters and downpipes
- Folded sheet metal products
- Roofing accessories
- Custom fabrication solutions





You’ll be selling into and developing relationships with:

- Roofing merchants
- Building product wholesalers
- Commercial builders
- Roofing contractors
- Sheet metal fabricators
- Industrial customers

While residential customers remain part of the business, the strategic focus is to grow commercial construction, wholesale partnerships and large trade accounts.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new business across commercial construction, wholesale and trade markets
- Grow and maximise existing key accounts throughout SEQ
- Mentor and develop one Sales Representative
- Identify new markets, products and commercial opportunities
- Assist with pricing, estimating and margin improvement
- Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis
- Contribute to business strategy, sales planning and product development
- Drive profitable sales growth across the region

About You

You may already be a Sales Manager, or perhaps you’re a high-performing Business Development Manager or Account Manager ready to take the next step.

You’ll have experience selling into the roofing, construction or building products industries and understand how to build long-term relationships with merchants, contractors, fabricators and commercial customers.

Experience selling roofing products, flashings, rainwater goods, sheet metal, steel, aluminium, cladding or fabricated building products will be highly regarded.
