Recurring and Detail Cleaner

Rhiannon’s Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable, detail-focused cleaner to join our growing team in Albany and the surrounding Great Southern region.

This is a casual position offering approximately 15–30 hours per week, with the opportunity for increased hours and potential progression based on reliability, performance and business requirements.

About the role

The position will primarily involve:

- Recurring residential cleaning
- Routine commercial cleaning
- Airbnb turnover cleaning
- Premium and detailed cleaning
- Cleaning bathrooms, toilets and kitchens
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Following client-specific instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- Completing final quality checks
- Reporting incomplete work, damage or access concerns
- Caring for cleaning equipment and client property

Required availability

Applicants must have availability across five days per week, primarily Monday to Friday.

Rostered shifts may include:

- Commercial cleaning starts from approximately 5:30am
- Daytime residential cleaning up to approximately 5:30pm
- After-hours commercial cleaning up to approximately 8:00pm
- Occasional weekend work

These are possible roster windows and do not mean employees will work continuously from 5:30am to 8:00pm.

Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided to applicants who demonstrate reliability, coachability and a strong work ethic.

Physical requirements

This is an active and repetitive role involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, vacuuming, mopping and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens for several hours.

Applicants must be able to safely perform the inherent requirements of the position, with reasonable adjustments considered where applicable.

Transport and checks

Applicants are not required to own a vehicle; however, reliable transport to nominated meeting points or work locations is essential.

A satisfactory police clearance will be required. Applicants who do not currently hold one may be permitted to obtain it after receiving a conditional employment offer.

Pay will depend on the employee’s applicable classification, duties and rostered shift. Relevant penalty rates and allowances will be paid in accordance with the applicable award.

Pay: $33.85 – $45.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
