Cranbourne Hyundai is looking for a motivated and reliable Automotive Used Car Reconditioning Technician to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician or the right Trade Assistant looking to take the next step in their automotive career. Previous experience in used vehicle reconditioning is highly regarded, but we value attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn just as much as experience.
About the Role
Working behind the scenes, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every used vehicle is prepared to the highest standard before it reaches our customers. While customers may never see the work you do firsthand, your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly influence their experience and satisfaction.
Your work helps ensure every customer drives away with confidence, making customer focus an essential part of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Recondition and prepare used vehicles for retail sale.
- Carry out mechanical inspections and repairs as required.
- Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
- Complete servicing and general maintenance.
- Ensure all vehicles meet dealership quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, protected, and organised workshop.
- Work collaboratively with the workshop and sales teams to meet deadlines.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in automotive servicing or used vehicle reconditioning (preferred).
- A qualified Automotive Technician or a Trade Assistant with relevant automotive experience and the right attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
- A genuine team player with a positive attitude.
- Customer focused and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Holds a current Australian driver's licence.
Applicants must have Permanent Residency, Australian Citizenship, or unrestricted Australian working rights.
