Job Title: Procurement Manager

Full‑time permanent position based in Carrum Downs.

Salary: $103,285 per annum + 11.5% superannuation + not‑for‑profit packaging.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement planning, sourcing and contract management aligned with MiCare’s strategic priorities.
- Review and improve procurement systems, processes and procedures.
- Educate staff on procurement requirements and associated matters.
- Provide leadership, vision, direction, and structure to deliver efficient, value‑add procurement.
- Negotiate and liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with MiCare policies.

Qualifications and Experience

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in procurement and/or demonstrated knowledge and experience in procurement including contracts, purchasing, tendering and competition processes.
- Victorian driver’s licence.
- Experience reviewing systems, processes and procedures to drive improvements.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem‑solving, time‑management and project‑management skills.

Skills

- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong liaison and negotiation abilities.




- Ability to work cooperatively with other areas of the organisation to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

- Ability to speak a second language reflecting a migrant group to which MiCare provides services (preferred).
