**About the Centre**:
Kew and North Balwyn Playcentre is an occasional childcare centre operating from 9am - 2pm (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and 9am - 3pm (Tuesday and Thursday) during Victorian School Terms.

Our Centre also runs a very limited school holiday program of one session per week during all term breaks.

Our Occasional care, multi-age program:

- caters for up to 25 children ranging in ages from 1-5 years.
- provides an enriched and stimulating workplace for both children and educators alike.
- allows for siblings of differing ages to learn together
- provides our educators with ideal working hours to fit in with their family life. The hours of this role allow for school drop off and pick up and the majority of school holidays are work free.

**Work Days of the Role**:
Casual Position with work available Monday to Friday

**Hours of Work of the Role**:
Hours ranging from:
Lunch cover: 2-3 hours per day

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8.45am - 2.30pm

Tuesday, Thursday: 8.45am - 3.30pm

**Position Description**:
We are currently seeking a Certificate 3 Educator for our Occasional Care program. An all rounder who can accommodate different shift lengths ranging from lunch cover to all day is preferred..

We a looking for a dynamic Cert 3 Educator, able to work in consultation with a busy team.



Our educators work primarily during school terms and enjoy the majority of Victorian School Holidays off making this an ideal position for work/life/family balance.

You will be creative, flexible, enthusiastic and have the ability to use your initiative as a member of a team of 6 staff. Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

**Qualifications**:
Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care

Mandatory Reporting Certificate
