School Crossing Supervisor - Part time - Randwick Public School

You’re ready to show up and make an impact on your local community. You take safety as seriously as we do and play a key role in ensuring children and motorists remain protected.

Role Overview

Become a Road Safety Hero respected within the community, supervising school crossings on Randwick Public School during school zone hours: 8:00–9:30 AM and 2:30–4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The role requires 1.5 hours in the morning and 1.5 hours in the afternoon, totaling 30 hours of supervision per fortnight.

You will receive an hourly rate, superannuation, and compensation for school holidays (Terms 1–3).

Responsibilities





- Supervise children at school crossings during designated school hours.
- Maintain communication with staff and parents as necessary.
- Alert to potential dangers and ensure safe road use around the school.
- Fulfil all safety protocols and reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment.
- Reliable, prepared to work in all weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and Health Assessment.
- Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
