About the role

We're looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our team. You'll handle sales both in person and through our website, working closely with our procurement and purchasing teams to make sure every order is processed and completed smoothly from enquiry to dispatch.

The Role

You'll own day-to-day sales across the business — serving customers at the counter, processing online orders, and working hand-in-hand with our procurement and purchasing teams to see every sale through from enquiry to dispatch. It's a hands-on role at the heart of a growing workshop, with plenty of room to put your own stamp on how we sell and support our customers. And it's a role with a future: as the business grows, we'll back your development through hands-on mentoring, training, and increasing responsibility — with a clear path toward a sales management role for someone who shows the initiative and appetite to grow with us.

What You'll Do





- Drive sales both in person and through our online store
- Process website sales and see orders through to completion
- Work alongside the procurement team to ensure all sales are completed
- Support the Purchasing Coordinator to ensure all orders are filled accurately and on time
- Source and track parts orders to keep jobs and customers moving
- Assist with the general day-to-day running of the business

What We're Looking For Required

- A friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and online systems for processing sales and orders
- Reliable, organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks
- A team player happy to pitch in wherever needed
- The right to work in Australia

Preferred

- Previous sales, parts, automotive, or industrial/trade experience
- An interest in engines, machinery, or mechanical parts
- Experience with inventory, ordering, or job-scheduling software

Compensation & Benefits

- $70,000 – $80,000 per year + superannuation
