Retail Assistant - Central Cleaning Supplies (Melrose Park, Adelaide)

Full-Time | No Sundays or Public Holidays

Central Cleaning Supplies, a market leader in the cleaning and hygiene industry for over 30 years, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at our Melrose Park store in Adelaide.

The Role:
As a Retail Assistant, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to walk-in and phone customers, assisting with stock control, and ensuring the store is clean, organised, and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with product selection and enquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain stock levels and ensure shelves are well presented
- Provide informed advice on a wide range of products
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stock handling
- Creating quotes and placing orders, reporting when required
- Maintain a clean and safe retail environment

Working Hours:




This is a full-time position with a rotating weekly roster:

- **Week 1**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM + Saturday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- **Week 2**: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Saturday off)
- **Every second Saturday is required**:

- **No Sundays or Public Holidays**

About You:

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Interest or experience in cleaning or industrial supplies is an advantage
- Basic computer skills, Outlook, Word, Excel

Melrose Park, SA - with on-site parking and easy access
