Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.
**The Emergency Department at Rockingham General Hospital is looking for a**
**Staff Development Nurse to cover a parental leave opportunity.**
**This is a part-time position at 48 hours per fortnight (0.63 FTE). The 12-month fixed-term contract commences 22 June 2026, with the possibility of extension(s).**
**No sponsorship will be provided for this role.**
The Staff Development Nurse is responsible for education and training in relation to clinical practices and as part of the multidisciplinary team plans, implements and evaluates orientation, education and training at the ward or unit level.
You will facilitate and promote patient safety and quality of care and works collaboratively to ensure service is delivered in accordance with health service policy and standards. This role practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
