Are you an experienced Operations Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading from the front?

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Operations Supervisor to join our team in Altona North. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems, supporting a team and ensuring operational excellence across warehouse and transport functions.

This role is ideal for someone who can think on their feet, take ownership of outcomes and confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating daily warehouse and transport activities
- Managing customer orders, dispatches, manifests and carrier bookings
- Monitoring DIFOT performance and ensuring customer expectations are met
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, suppliers and transport providers
- Supporting and developing team members
- Managing operational administration, reporting and documentation
- Working closely with warehouse and distribution teams to improve workflow efficiency
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and operational performance
- Assisting in resolving operational issues and customer concerns as they arise

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Strong administration and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills




- The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Previous experience coordinating transport and carrier requirements
- Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport or distribution environment
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities

Highly Regarded

- Experience within food distribution, food manufacturing or temperature-controlled logistics
- Inventory and stock control experience
- HACCP and food safety knowledge
- Experience managing large customer accounts

Recruitment Process

Stage 1 – Initial interview focusing on experience, leadership capability and cultural fit.

Stage 2 – Final interview focusing on operational knowledge, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills and long-term suitability for the role.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a National Police Check and pre-employment medical assessment.
