About the role

King Smash Repairs is seeking an Experienced Panel Beater to join our team in Batemans Bay, NSW. This is a full-time position - 4 Day week Monday to Thursday offering the opportunity to work with a reputable automotive repair business where your expertise in panel beating and vehicle restoration will be highly valued. You will be working on-site at our Batemans Bay location, utilising your skills to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition.

What you'll be doing

1. Assessing vehicle damage and determining the most effective repair methods

2. Removing and reshaping damaged panels using specialised tools and equipment

3. Welding and joining panels to restore structural integrity

4. Preparing panels for painting by sanding, filling and priming

5. Ensuring all repairs meet industry standards and safety requirements

6. Liaising with other team members including spray painters and mechanics to ensure seamless vehicle restoration

7. Maintaining a clean and safe working setting

8. Recording work completion details and maintaining accurate job documentation

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Panel Beater, with a solid track record of high-quality repairs

2. Proficiency in using panel beating tools, welding equipment and diagnostic technology

3. Robust understanding of vehicle structural repair techniques and procedures

4. Knowledge of safety protocols and workplace health and safety regulations

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6.



Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

7. Problem-solving skills and the ability to assess complex damage scenarios

8. Relevant qualifications or certifications in panel beating or automotive trades (desirable)

9. Valid driver's licence
