**The Roles**

You’ll be part of a dynamic leadership team driving service excellence, team development and operational precision across our multi-venue precinct. Whether your strength lies in strategic oversight or hands-on service leadership, you’ll find a role that celebrates your passion for people and performance.

**Assistant Venue Manager**
As an AVM at The Continental Sorrento, you’ll be an integral part of the venue’s leadership team, supporting strategic operations from rostering to stocktakes, service consistency, processes and business performance. You’ll oversee venue-wide standards, lead and mentor teams, and play a key role in monthly and weekly planning, implementation and execution. This role suits a refined operator ready to take the next step toward senior venue leadership within a destination environment.

**Duty Manager**
As a Duty Manager, you’ll lead each shift with purpose - setting the pace for service, teamwork and guest experience. You’ll oversee daily operations across our venues, supporting your space to stay organised, well-prepared and performing at its best. From coordinating departments and workflows to ensuring transparent communication and handovers between leads,



you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping service and events running seamlessly. Whether it’s ensuring bookings are set, bars are stocked or functions are ready to roll, you’ll help bring every detail together for a smooth and memorable guest experience. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in being part of a team that delivers hospitality at its best.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Previous leadership experience within hospitality, with a genuine passion for people and service
- Confidence leading your team through high-energy service periods while maintaining a focus on guest experience
- Strong operational awareness and clear communication skills
- Organisational habits that keep service running smoothly
- A calm, solutions-focused approach when the pace picks up
- A natural ability to build positive relationships with both guests and colleagues
- Confidence using reservation and POS systems (training available)
- Availability to willingly work weekends, evenings and public holidays
