Role Description

This is a casual on-site role for a Tutor specializing in VCE English Units 3&4. The tutor will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons, providing one-on-one instruction to students in home, and evaluating student progress. The role involves guiding students in improving their English grammar, developing writing skills,



and offering academic support tailored to the VCE curriculum. The position is located in Pakenham, VIC, however the tutor is required to be able to commute to students’ house for 1-1 classes.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in English Teaching and Tutoring
- Strong Communication skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues
- Ability to adapt tutoring methods to suit various learning styles and individual needs
- Experience teaching VCE English Units 3&4 desired, or a Study Score above 40
- Relevant teaching certification or qualifications are a strong plus
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Being familiar with various texts such as Sunset Boulevard, Rainbow’s End, and other VCE texts
