Revit Documenter | Medium-Density Residential — See Your Designs Get Built

This isn't a traditional practice.

M3 is an integrated property developer — we design, develop and build under one roof. Our architecture team doesn't hand off drawings and wait. You'll document a project and collaborate with the construction team building it. When something doesn't work on site, you'll hear about it and get to solve it together with the team.

We specialise in medium-density residential across Melbourne's inner suburbs — boutique townhouse designs where people can experience the joy from our designs. Our pipeline is strong, our turnaround is fast, and we care about design quality as much as we care about getting things built well.

If you've spent your career in a slow-moving practice and wondered why it takes a long time to document a single project, this will feel different. We move at a fast pace. You'll touch more projects, learn faster, and see your work become real buildings.

What you'll actually do

You'll be the engine room of our documentation process, working closely with the design director and construction team to turn concepts into buildable, permit-ready and construction-ready packages.

On any given week, you might be:

- Developing a schematic design into full construction documentation in Revit

- Preparing planning and building permit application packages to council and building surveyor standards

- Working closely with the team leaders on design, details and bringing beautiful concepts to life

What you need to bring

- Strong Revit proficiency — you should be comfortable owning a model from setup to issue, not just drafting within someone else's template

- 3–5 years of documentation experience on residential or medium-density projects (developer, builder or practice)

- Qualification in Architecture or Building Design to support your documentation expertise





- Experience coordinating with consulting engineers — you understand how a building comes together, not just how it looks

- The ability to manage your own workload across multiple concurrent projects without losing quality

- A portfolio or 2–3 examples of construction documentation you've produced (please include with your application)

What would set you apart

- Prior experience inside a developer or builder environment (you already understand the pace)

- Familiarity with planning permit documentation and council submission requirements in Victorian LGAs

- Experience mentoring junior staff or coordinating a small documentation team

- Comfort with Microsoft Office and project tracking tools (Monday.com)
