Full-Time Kitchen Hand (2 Positions Available) – Fish & Chips Shop, North ward, Townsville.

We are looking for 2 reliable and hardworking Full-Time Kitchen Hands to join our busy fish and chips shop located in North Ward, Townsville.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful applicants will play an important role in food preparation, cooking support, cleaning, and maintaining high food safety standards.

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Deep frying experience is essential
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Strong attention to food quality and presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays

Key Duties

- Operating commercial deep fryers and preparing fried food products
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen setup




- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
- Washing dishes and kitchen utensils
- Stock rotation and storage
- Supporting the kitchen team during service periods
