The role
We’re looking for an Advertising Account Manager / Account Director to join our team in Surry Hills.
This is a key client leadership role for someone who knows how to keep advertising and brand projects moving, relationships strong, and standards high.
You’ll be the bridge between clients and the agency — leading day-to-day account management, helping shape and clarify briefs, coordinating campaign development, keeping work on track, and making sure solid creative ideas make it into the world properly.
You’ll work across advertising campaigns, brand projects, digital, social, print, outdoor, radio, film/video and other creative outputs. You’ll help coordinate the people, timelines, budgets, approvals and details that turn a brief into work we’re proud of.
We need someone calm, commercially aware and highly organised.
Someone who can build trust quickly, manage multiple moving parts without dropping the ball, and bring good energy to clients and internal teams.
In short: you’ll help make the work happen.
What you’ll do
- Manage day-to-day client relationships across advertising, brand and campaign projects.
- Support the planning, development and coordination of advertising campaigns across digital, social, print, outdoor, radio, film/video and other channels.
- Work with strategy, creative, design, production and media partners to deliver campaign work from brief through to rollout.
- Help interpret client briefs and translate them into clear internal creative, strategic and production briefs.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, budgets, approvals, WIPs, client feedback and delivery milestones.
- Advise clients on campaign approach, messaging, audience, channel considerations and creative outputs.
- Coordinate the production of campaign assets, including copy, artwork, scripts, video, digital assets and media-ready deliverables.
- Ensure campaign work is delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed strategic and creative standard.
- Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to grow accounts through advertising, campaign and brand activity.
- Work closely with internal teams to keep projects moving without becoming a bottleneck.
- Help maintain high standards across the work,
the process and the client experience.
What we’re looking for
- Solid experience in account management within an advertising, creative, brand or integrated agency environment.
- At least 3 years’ experience at Account Manager level or equivalent.
- Experience coordinating advertising campaigns and creative projects from brief to delivery.
- Strong understanding of the creative development process.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders at once.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence working directly with clients and presenting timelines, recommendations, feedback and next steps clearly.
- Commercial awareness and comfort managing budgets, scopes and project realities.
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to get the best out of creative, strategy, design and production teams without slowing things down.
- Bonus points if you’ve worked across branding, campaign production, digital, social or film/video.
