About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional, customer centric Business Development Manager to grow sales of our educational products.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to support and enhance the growth of people wanting to learn about STL and property education.

You’ll be joining a fast-growing business with beautiful offices located in Surry Hills, only a short walk from Central Station.

This role offers solid long-term career progression within the education and property sector and is ideal for someone who is proactive, commercially minded and motivated by performance-based rewards.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Business Development

- Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is heavily focused on new business development and outbound engagement
- You’ll be responsible for identifying prospective clients, initiating conversations, building relationships and creating qualified opportunities for the business
- This is not an account management role. Success in this role comes from being proactive, commercially curious and confident in engaging new organisations through cold outreach, networking and strategic prospecting
- This is an Australia-based role,

Business Development & Pipeline Management

- Conduct proactive outbound prospecting through calls, email outreach, LinkedIn and networking
- Identify and engage prospective clients across multiple sources
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the business
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities

Open Doors & Start Conversations

- Engage confidently with others
- Position DPA’s property solutions in a compelling and consultative way
- Support discovery conversations and early-stage client engagement
- Help build awareness of DPA across the Australian and international market
- Attend networking events, conferences and industry functions where required

Support Sales Growth Initiatives

- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Work closely with the senior sales leader to progress opportunities
- Contribute ideas and market insights to support business growth

Key Skills & Experience

- Naturally confident, proactive and people-oriented
- Enjoy speaking with new people and building relationships
- Resilient and comfortable with outbound engagement and cold outreach




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commercially curious and eager to learn
- Thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments
- Want to build a long-term career in enterprise sales, partnerships or consulting
- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer-facing or recruitment roles
- Experience with outbound calling or lead generation is highly regarded
- Exposure to technology, education, consulting or professional services is advantageous
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a bonus

Part-time initially: 3 days per week

Salary

$80,000 pro rata + uncapped commissions
OTE up to $130K+
