Chubbs is a New Brew Pub located in the popular industrial area of Brookvale on the Northern Beaches.

Chubbs Brookvale is searching for a confident and responsible Bar Manager to join our legendary team. Your leadership skills will guide the bar and floor teams, ensuring smooth operations, impeccable service and an energetic atmosphere that keeps patrons returning.

This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about hospitality and providing top service.

Key responsibilities:
Team Leadership:

- Motivate and supervise bar and floor staff, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment
- Train new team members to set performance standards and provide ongoing coaching and feedback

Bar Management:

- Oversee all aspects of the bar including ordering, stock control and stock takes.
- Update beverage menus ensuring a creative and diverse selection of drinks with the operations manager.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol-related regulations and guidelines are up to standard.

Floor operations:

- Address patron concerns, feedback and requests promptly and professionally
- Coordinate table assignments, reservations and seating arrangements.

Customer Experience:

- Set high standards for guest service and lead by example, demonstrating impeccable customer service
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and the floor
- Consistently seek ways to enhance the guest experience and exceed expectations

Operational Efficiency:

- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling and reconciliation




- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and compliance with health and safety regulations

Event Coordination:

- Ensure events are well coordinated, and all staff members are adequately prepared
- Plan and execute special events, promotions and functions

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of efficiently managing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of bar operations, cocktail preparations and beverage trends
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make swift decisions
- Proficiency in POS systems
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
