Front of House Section Waiter / Bartender – Potts Point

MKR Groups operates established Japanese dining venues across Sydney.

We are currently hiring Section Waiters and Bartenders for our Potts Point venue, a modern Japanese izakaya.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We welcome applicants with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Hourly Rates

- Weekdays: $24.95–$28.12
- Saturday: $31.19–$35.15
- Sunday: $37.43+

Rates are based on the Restaurant Industry Award. Cash payment may be negotiable. Weekend and public holiday penalty rates apply. A trial period may apply, with pay rates and progression reviewed based on individual performance and suitability.

What You’ll Do

- Manage a section and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take food and drink orders, including sake and cocktails
- Communicate with kitchen and bar for smooth service
- Handle payments, POS, and guest requests




- Maintain clean tables and assist with opening/closing

What We’re Looking For

- Previous waiter or bartender experience (Japanese dining a plus)
- Professional, reliable, and guest-focused attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- RSA (NSW) required or willing to obtain
- Available 4–8 shifts per week (evenings/weekends included)
