Sheet Metal Worker | Richlands QLD | Custom Fabrication

The Company
Our client is a well-established Queensland business that designs and builds fully custom products for a range of clients across SEQ and beyond. Their work is hands-on and creative, with no two projects the same. They fabricate bespoke components in-house, which is where you come in.

The Role
This is a short term (1 month), Monday to Friday position based in Richlands. You'll be working across light fabrication, aluminium welding, and laser-cut panel work as part of a small, tight-knit workshop team.
Early starts (5:00am or 6:00am) are part of the deal, so if you're a morning person who likes to get in and crack on, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

- TIG welding aluminium to a good standard
- Light fabrication and assembly work
- Operating laser cutting equipment for custom panels
- Reading and interpreting drawings and work instructions




- General workshop duties as required

What We're After

- Solid TIG welding experience on aluminium
- Confident with light fabrication tasks
- Ability to read and follow written instructions (drawings, job sheets, etc.)
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early starts
- Someone who takes pride in their work and can operate with minimal supervision

Trade qualification is advantageous but not essential. What matters more is that you can actually do the work to a positive standard.
