In-Home Support Worker / Domestic Assistance (Disability Support)

We are specifically looking for someone reliable, respectful, and genuinely interested in providing consistent support to a long-term participant.

If you regularly cancel shifts, struggle with communication, disappear during onboarding, or are unable to commit to ongoing fortnightly supports, this role will not be suitable.

National Disability Care (NDC) is a growing NDIS provider focused on delivering structured, person-centred, high-quality support. We are currently seeking a dependable and proactive support worker to assist a young participant in Miranda NSW with domestic assistance and general in-home support.

About the Participant

The participant is a young female with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD Level 2) who is seeking calm, respectful, and low-pressure support within the home environment.

This role is primarily focused on domestic assistance and helping reduce stress within the household, while maintaining consistency, structure, and professional boundaries.

The participant experiences anxiety, so we are looking for someone emotionally regulated, patient, and able to work in a calm and respectful manner.

Female support workers are preferred due to participant preference.

Fortnightly Schedule (Ongoing)





Approximately 3 hours per fortnight

Days and times can be discussed with the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

- Domestic assistance including dishes, laundry, tidying, and general household support
- Meal preparation assistance if required
- Maintaining a clean, calm, and respectful environment
- Following support plans and participant preferences
- Maintaining professional communication and documentation
- Building a consistent and respectful support relationship

What We Are Looking For

We are specifically seeking someone who:

- Is reliable and actually attends scheduled shifts consistently
- Communicates clearly and responds to messages in a reasonable timeframe
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Is calm, respectful, emotionally regulated, and qualified
- Understands the importance of routine and consistency for neurodivergent participants
- Maintains professional boundaries and follows through on commitments
- Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail

Mandatory Requirements

- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Own reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check




- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification

Experience

- Previous disability support experience preferred
- Domestic assistance and in-home support experience highly regarded
- Experience supporting neurodivergent participants desirable
- Confidence working independently required
