Privately owned food exporter located in Frenchs Forest is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee the logistics team. Whilst the role is full-time there is also an offering of flexibility around a shorter working day.
Duties & responsibilities:
Review/update supply chain practices
Streamline processes and work on continuous improvement
Oversee the logistics team and offer support/development where needed
Delegate duties and ensure client requirements are met
Negotiate rates with suppliers and implement cost effective solutions
Ensure the output of export documentation is accurate and timely
Skills & attributes required:
Experience working within Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in the food industry
Management/supervisory experience
Understanding of export documentation
Previous experience in managing projects and continuous improvement
Leadership skills
