You will also coordinate the timely and protected operation of traffic control systems, including SCATS, devices by monitoring traffic flow and device status and directing field resources and emergency services.

**About you**

You will have experience and knowledge of traffic management and the Sydney road network,motorway operations and/or SCATS operations, along with incident management or similar operational experience. Ideally you have a background working for Transport for NSW or at a private motorway operator. Experience operating smart motorways would be highly regarded.

- full time position is located onsite at the Transport Management Centre (TMC) in Eveleigh, NSW. This a 24/7 operations centre, and it is therefore a requirement of the role that you work rostered, rotating shifts that include some weekends. Salary is Transport Grade 7 ($113,121.00-$126,695.00). In addition to the salary, penalty rates, overtime and additional annual leave will be paid in accordance with the Transport Award.
