NEP Australia seeks to set current standards in service excellence within the television industry. As part of this increased customer-focused vision, NEP Australia is recruiting for a Sydney based Systems Support Specialist.

**The Role & Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Lead, the **Systems Support Specialist**is required to provide level 1 & 2 systems support as part of a global team with a follow-the-sun model in place. This hybrid position is a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday with 2 days per week work from home.

**Key Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Serve as the initial point-of-contact for troubleshooting software, Laptop/ PC hardware, printing and phone problems in a multi-site Active Directory environment
- Generate and manage service desk tickets for problems and work to resolve the issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare new laptops and desktops for deployment to offices and mobile units in the field.
- Support users by installing, configuring, and deploying software packages on company hardware.
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance, management and tracking of company owned hardware and software
- Provide backup systems administration support for multi-server, multi-location IT infrastructure
- Ensure information security is maintained to the highest standards

**Skills Required**:

- Technical or Bachelor’s degree in IS, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with PC configuration/ upgrades and repairs
- Knowledge of troubleshooting network issues (LAN/WAN)
- Understanding of IP Phones and video conferencing
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

- Ability to multitask, manage priorities and a have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
