As a Wardsperson, you’ll play a vital role in assisting nursing staff and ensuring patients receive high-quality, customer-focused care across all hospital wards. **About the role**:

As a wardsperson you will be required to:
- Provide high quality care to patients of Belmont Hospital
- Communicate effectively and with respect to both patients and staff at all times
- Work collaboratively with all units/ teams of Belmont Hospital
- Maintain a professional standard of practise and adhere to all HNELHD policies
- Assist nursing staff with patient care
- Transport patients and their belongings throughout the hospital e.g to medical imaging, pathology and between wards
- Assist nursing staff with the transfer of deceased patients to the mortuary
- Perform general cleaning duties as required
