BUSINESS SUPPORT MANAGER

About Alita Constructions

Alita Constructions has operated in the Western Australian commercial construction industry since 1980. Based in Forrestdale, we design and construct tilt-up concrete panel buildings — factories, warehouses, workshops, schools, medical centers, retail showrooms and community buildings across Perth.

A Newly Create Role…

We are recruiting a Business Support Manager — a permanent, full-time, office-based position reporting directly to the Director and a dotted line to our Construction Manager.

This role owns HR, office operations, IT contract management, social media and brand (parental leave cover), and employee experience. You manage one direct report. You are the single point of contact for all 30 employees across head office and active construction sites. You will be the central support person who keeps the business running smoothly, holds key knowledge, and brings a positive presence to the team.

This is an execution role. You own your functions, act directly and accurately, and are present in the office every day. If you have multi-function business support experience in a practical, operational environment and work well with direct accountability and minimal oversight, this role is suited to you.

What You Will Own (with your reporting team)

Human Resources

- Employment Hero HRMS — employee records, onboarding workflows, leave, performance reviews, policy acknowledgements





- End-to-end recruitment— advertising, screening, reference checks, contracts and offers Recent employee onboarding

- Employee relations— performance, conduct, grievances Separation management, probation tracking, payroll administration support

Office Operations

- Head office management — facilities, suppliers, consumables, equipment, office lease liaison SharePoint document control — naming conventions, folder structure, version control, access permissions

- Vehicle register, registration renewals, fleet compliance records, driver licence verification PPE, uniforms and tools of trade — procurement, stock management, distribution records

IT Contract Management

- Vendor Management for the outsourced IT provider IT provisioning for new starters and complete IT offboarding on the day of termination

Marketing & Brand (Parental Leave Cover)

- LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook — project milestone posts, team recognition, brand-consistent content Brand asset library in SharePoint — logos, templates, approved photography, style guide

- Supplier management — design, print, signage Basic website content updates; capability statement and tender document formatting support

Employee Experience

- Events calendar — project completions, work anniversaries, team events, seasonal recognition Internal communications — policy updates, compliance reminders, company announcements

- New employee Day 1 welcome — desk, access, workwear, tools,



introductions First point of contact for all employee questions — entitlements, leave, policies, tools

Essential

• Full, unrestricted Australian working rights

• 5+ years in office management, business support or HR generalist role

• Ability to attend our Forrestdale office full-time, daily (38 Hensbrook Loop, WA 6112)

• Drivers License, Police Clearance and able to pass a Fit for Work if Required.

Strongly Preferred

Construction, resources, engineering, mining or trades industry background

Someone who is looking to become a central part of a new family - has close access to the offices and is looking to work in our head office 5 days a week to really own the role.
