Contract/Casual Trainers and Assessors – Aged Care, Education Support, Community Services, Counselling & Early Childhood Education & Care

Part-time contract roles commencing July 2026

The role

Northern Beaches & Mosman College (NBMC) is seeking multiple experienced, motivated and engaging Contract or Casual Trainers/Assessors to deliver high-quality training and assessment as described below.

The successful candidate/s will deliver part-time nationally accredited courses starting in July 2026. Training is primarily held in person at our Brookvale Campus or Chatswood venue, with some courses including virtual classroom delivery. No classes are held during NSW school holidays.

Available courses & delivery requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) CHC33021 - 2 evenings per week - Tues and Thurs 5.30pm to 9pm at Brookvale campus commencing July 2026 for six months. (Note: trainer must be available to deliver training, in person, at the College's Brookvale Campus.)

- Certificate IV in Aging Support CHC43015 - 1 evening per week Tues 5.30pm to 9pm commencing July 2026 for 9 months. (Note: trainer must be available to deliver training, through a combination of virtual classroom and in person, at the College's Brookvale Campus.)

- Certificate IV in School Based Education Support CHC40225 - 1 day per week at Chatswood venue - Tuesday 9.30am to 4.30pm - commencing July 2026 for 12 months (Note: trainer must be available to deliver training, in person, at the College's Chatswood venue and conduct workplace visits in the Chatswood area.)





- Certificate IV in Community Services CHC42021 - 1 evening per week via virtual classroom - Tuesday 5.30pm to 8.30pm - commencing July 2026 to June 2027

- Diploma of Counselling CHC51015 - 1 day per week at Chatswood venue - Thurs 9.30am to 2.30pm - July 2026 to August 2027 (Note: trainer must be available to deliver training, in person, at the College's Chatswood venue).

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care CHC30125 - 1 day per week - Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm on campus commencing July 2026 for 12 months. (Note: trainer must be available to deliver training, in person, at the College's Brookvale Campus.)

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Face to face or virtual delivery to students

- Conducting marking and recording student assessments

- Providing student support

- Work placement visits (if applicable)

- Participate in validation

- Maintenance of all aspects of compliance related to working in an RTO environment

Preferred:

- Be an experienced trainer/assessor preferably with recent training experience in the qualification working for an RTO or an experienced school teacher at high school level interested in moving into adult education. (Refer to the Credential Policy for qualifications requirements).





- Passionate about adult education and the relevant subject matter.

- Highly professional with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

- Enthusiastic, well-presented, and self-motivated

- Be a well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills

- Have excellent presentation skills; including a positive and skilled work manner

Required qualifications:

Appropriate industry qualification and experience as defined by the Standards for RTOs 2025 and relevant Training Package plus relevant training qualification (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or as defined in the Credential Policy).
