Rosebud

Who We Are

Rosebud RSL has stood at the heart of this community for generations. We exist to honour the service and sacrifice of Australia’s veterans, to support those who have given so much, and to bring our community together in a place they can truly call their own.

As one of Rosebud’s largest employers, we’re proud of the role we play — not just for our members and veterans, but for the hundreds of local families who depend on us, the countless community initiatives we support, and the thousands of guests we welcome through our doors each year. Every shift, every interaction, every decision made on the floor is part of something bigger than hospitality. It’s a legacy.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be the person who keeps the promise of Rosebud RSL on every shift — ensuring our members are valued, our team is supported, and our standards never waver.

With genuine opportunities for professional development and growth, this is a role for someone who wants to build a career with meaning.

• Lead and support staff across Gaming, Bistro, Functions, and Sports Bar on shift.

• Be the face of our member experience, resolving complaints with empathy, professionalism, and care.

• Uphold compliance with gaming regulations, RSA, VGCCC legislation, and Food Safety requirements.

• Manage shift financials including till balancing, float maintenance, safe reconciliation, and cash handling.

• Oversee beverage operations, stock control, and beer and post-mix system quality.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming setting that reflects our values every single day.

• Lead with confidence during emergencies and ensure thorough shift handovers and diary records.
