We're currently searching for a skilled Barista & Cafe Assistant to join our organisation in a casual capacity.

About the Opportunity The position will deliver excellent customer service at Vista Cafe Bar and prepare, serve and sell high-quality coffee, food and beverages.

What you will bring

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

- Demonstrated skills and experience in the hospitality industry.

- Exceptional barista skills including but not limited to specialty coffee, latte art, grinders, current trends etc.

- Food preparation skills and experience.

- A strong customer service focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Demonstrated ability in the use of Point-of-Sale systems

- Hold current qualification/certificates in Food Safety and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Victoria

- Hold a current satisfactory police check or willing to obtain one.

Salary and conditions

The position is classified within Band 3 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $41.6256 per hour plus statutory superannuation.
