Communify is seeking an experienced and community-focused Neighbourhood Centre Coordinator to lead the Acacia Ridge Neighbourhood Centre — a vibrant local hub delivering practical support, community connection, emergency relief, and community development initiatives.

About the role
As the Neighbourhood Centre Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, lead a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, and strengthen partnerships that support positive community outcomes.
You will coordinate responsive programs and services including:
- Emergency relief and financial inclusion initiatives
- Information, referral, and community support services
- Community education programs and events
- Community development activities
- Partnerships with schools, local organisations, and stakeholders
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy and diverse community setting and is passionate about empowering individuals and strengthening local communities. About you To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience coordinating community programs and services
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Experience supporting individuals and families experiencing complex issues
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of community development principles and community services practice
- Ability to work collaboratively across a multi-service environment
Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in community services, social work, welfare, psychology, or a related field will be highly regarded.

Mandatory requirements
- Current National Police Check
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Current Open Queensland Driver’s Licence
