Honour Care is seeking a **calm, patient, and emotionally mature female Support Worker** to support a **female NDIS participant in her 60s** living in **Clontarf 4019, QLD**.

The participant has **mental health support needs** and requires **consistent, respectful, and person-centred support**, particularly during **evening and sleepover shifts**. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working with mental health clients and understands the importance of **boundaries, emotional regulation, and gentle reassurance**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- 1:1 **evening and sleepover support**
- **Observation and support with medication intake** (no administration)
- Light household tasks to maintain a calm and safe environment
- Companionship and reassurance, especially during evenings
- Supporting emotional regulation and maintaining routines
- Encouraging independence while ensuring safety and dignity
- Clear communication and **accurate shift notes**

**About the Participant (for suitability)**
- Female, in her 60s
- NDIS participant with mental health support needs
- Lives independently in **Clontarf 4019 QLD**
- Values routine, calm communication, and consistency
- May become emotionally unsettled if routines change
- **No history of violent behaviour**
- Responds best to **calm, neutral, and non-confrontational support**

**Essential Requirements**
- **Female Support Worker** (client preference)




- Experience supporting clients with **mental health / psychosocial disabilities**
- Calm, patient, and emotionally regulated approach
- Valuable communication skills (**clear English required**)
- Ability to remain professional during emotional situations
- Current **First Aid & CPR**
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check**
- **Working with Children Check**
- Valid **driver’s licence** & reliable vehicle
- Ability to write **clear and professional case notes**

**Desirable (but not essential)**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Mental Health, or equivalent)
- Experience with **evening or sleepover shifts**
- Experience providing companionship-based supports
