Warrnambool Library and Learning Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and student-focused professional to join the Library team in a temporary capacity as the Student Services Librarian.
Reporting to the Service Manager Library and Learning Centre, this role is responsible for delivering high quality customer service and proactive academic support to South West TAFE students and staff accessing library resources, facilities and research assistance. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a welcoming library environment that supports positive student outcomes and the successful operation of the library service more broadly.

About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in library services, information retrieval and research support
- Robust digital literacy and confidence using online information resources and technologies
- The ability to develop and deliver training and support programs
- A cooperative and proactive approach to teamwork
- A commitment to supporting student learning and success
This temporary appointment provides an opportunity to contribute to student success while supporting operational requirements within the library service.

The Benefits
This position is temporary full time until 6 November 2026 with a current starting annual salary of $76,310 per annum (pro-rata), plus superannuation.
