**About the Opportunity**
An opportunity exists for a motivated and driven administration professional to join the General Manager’s Unit at Liverpool Hospital as an Executive Assistant to Executive Director. The Executive Assistant to Executive Directors at Liverpool Hospital are responsible for assisting the Executive with diary management, preparing for meetings and minuting of Committees, processing paperwork, and assisting with administrative processes within the GMU..
**What you'll be doing**
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides organisational and administrative support to the Executive Directors and Manager of the General Managers Unit (GMU). This position is required to develop and maintain effective office systems and procedures, manage paperwork and minutes for Executive Committees, assist with Executive projects, and perform tasks and communicate on behalf of the Liverpool Executive as appropriate. The role assists with other secretarial and administrative duties as required.
**Where you'll be working**
Liverpool Hospital, founded in 1813, is the major health service for south-western Sydney, providing services to the local government area of Liverpool City Council as well as district services to residents and visitors in the area. It also provides a range of state-wide services in areas such as critical care and trauma, neonatal intensive care and brain injury rehabilitation.
The Hospital provides a health service of international standing, with 23 operating theatres,
capacity for 877 beds, diagnostic and imaging services, emergency and trauma care, maternity, paediatric, cancer care, mental health, ambulatory care, allied health and medical and surgical services from birth to aged care.
Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project will provide enhanced facilities and an increased capacity to meet future significant population growth for South Western Sydney.
Liverpool Hospital is a principal referral and teaching Hospital of the University of NSW and the Western Sydney University and also welcome students from over 20 universities and colleges.
Located in the heart of Liverpool City, the hospital is close to public transport, shopping centres and eateries.
**How to Apply**
- Demonstrated experience in providing secretarial and administrative support at an Executive level, including diary management, and secretarial duties for Committees or Working Parties.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to meet urgent deadlines with mínimal supervision and prioritise conflicting work commitments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Demonstrated experience in the review, development, implementation and maintenance of administrative processes.
- Demonstrated ability in preparing and reviewing high-level written correspondence, including letters, briefs, and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team, independently and with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated initiative, analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to source, coordinate and collate information.
